Code Kingdoms

CEO Ross Targett introduces you to Code Kingdoms

We are creating the coding workforce of the future.

Code Kingdoms is an online platform that teaches kids how to code.

Used in 30+ countries, we have over one million kids using our coding technology.

Partners include the BBC, Code Club & Teach First.

We’ve focused on designing the most effective code editor and content to help kids learn quicker and better. Primarily, we want to ensure kids are building real software applications and so our technology is exposes them to proper programming practices from the beginning. We start with drag and drop code, representing real languages such as Java, Python and JavaScript, before transitioning to text based programming used by professional engineers.

In partnership with the BBC, we have extended our reach in schools through 2016.  One million 11-12 year olds in the UK have received a small programmable computer, the BBC micro:bit, which can be coded using our code editor.  Our most popular consumer product is CK for Modding which allows players to create their own Minecraft mods in as little as 5 minutes.
