The London university now trails only MIT in the global rankings. Its students are prized for their employability but competition to study there is fierce.
What a fantastic way to kick off London Tech Week and celebrate UK entrepreneurship! We want to congratulate our colleagues and alumni from Imperial College London for their incredible achievement of ranking second globally and first in the UK and Europe in this year’s QS World University Rankings!
Their dedication to cultivating an entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem within West London and White City is truly inspiring. We are proud to collaborate with Imperial and their exceptional alumni at Scale Space and Blenheim Chalcot, where together, we foster an environment where groundbreaking ideas flourish.

- John Simpson and Alex Bond of Fresh Check, Confirming Hygiene, creating rapid microbial contamination tests for food-processing companies.
- Victor Dewulf and Peter Hedley of Recycleye, using robotics to sort waste.
- Lucy Jung of Charco Neurotech, developing devices to alleviate Parkinson’s disease symptoms.
